St Pauls Financial Planning was established in Mid-2020, combining our financial knowledge, expertise and experience accumulated over 50+ years in financial services. We built our firm from the ground up to ensure that we can provide a high class service and quality advice for our clients, new and existing. We offer all the benefits of a large national firm but with the approachable, people-orientated culture of a small business. We believe financial advice can enrich people’s lives and we never take for granted the trust placed in us by the people we work with every day.

All Independent Financial Advisers must have a statement of Professional Standing (SPS). This is certified annually to ensure advisers maintain their high professional standards and is awarded by our professional bodies.

Our Financial Planners are members of either the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) or the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This demonstrates their commitment to professionalism and the highest standards of knowledge, skills and behaviour.

Having worked in the wealth arm of several major banks and insurance groups, I noticed how things can become boring and complicated for people looking to make their capital work harder. By having a restricted offering it meant that companies who have a general ‘off-the-shelf’ approach caused clients to be shoehorned into plans that may not be suitable for them.

I believe that the only way you can have a financial plan that will match your needs, is by using a goals-based approach, which is truly independent and holistic.

It is so important to me that we are transparent and simple to understand. This means we offer bespoke, whole of market solutions across a full range of financial needs to ensure your journey is easy to understand and matches your aspirations.

I specialise in retirement planning, investment advice, estate planning and trusts. I also offer a corporate solutions plan; this is dedicated to helping SMEs to extract capital tax efficiently and ensure staff and directors have the best possible outcomes from their businesses.

Steve is a highly experienced Financial Planner, having worked in the financial services profession since 1985.

Steve is from a Corporate background having previously worked for a number of Blue-Chip Financial Institutions, but nowadays focuses on running the business alongside Ed, concentrating mainly on retirement planning and heading up our estate planning team. He also assists with Final Salary Pension Transfers

Estate Planning Manager

Lorna has worked in banking and financial services all her life and was a successful branch manager for an independent mortgage brokerage. More recently, she has worked in various financial institutions to help manage change and transformation to their businesses. Lorna now specialises in Wills and Estate Planning, helping people deal with all aspects of the probate and estate administration process.

After a long and successful career as a Bank manager with Lloyds, Mark is our Estate Planning Manager advising our clients on their estate planning needs establishing suitable Wills and Trusts to ensure effective bloodline planning is established and our client’s estates are in order.
